I sincerely doubt that I will be able to post very frequently this month, but I am still very excited to see what others post this Blaugust. For those that don't know, Blaugust is a celebration of and encouragement to blog in community.

I'm just going to write a short personal post.

I'm in need of a creative recharge! I've been working next to a lot of creative projects in the last few months (and/or years, depending on how you're counting it), but many of my own projects have fallen through in ways both in my control and (mostly) not. The last major project of my own that I worked on was last June, and I was in the process of a large project at work so I only got to half focus (an anonymous shoutout to my wonderful team for carrying that project across the finish line with only half my attention!)... So, I am determined to put out another project, and soon. I need to follow up and/or introduce myself to some of the local theatre leaders in town to get back on their radars - apparently people had thought I had been out of town or moved away ??? - as well as pursue a jam sized game with a friend of mine in Berlin. We are similarly creatively stimied or burnt out at present, so I'm excited to build something together.

Hilariously, I am writing this right as I enter a period of ~2 weeks where I will not be able to work on ANY of my own projects, so I am lighting in a candle in a room that I will not be able to come back into for a while! Thank you for reading, and I hope I'll be writing again with good tidings about my own projects.
